What a crazy time.

Never have I experienced a year like this one.
It has been so crazy.
To think that when it started I was so dizzy.

This post could be called the year in review post.
Maybe for the title I should just write the title instead of trying to describe the post in a little phrase.
I raise a glass to you, my friend.

In 2008 I will be turning 23 eventually.
I will be going back to the basics hopefully.
Time will hold still for one second possibly.
and life will be grand once again.

God. Thanks.

Memories.

Maybe it is just me.
Maybe it might be some people.
Maybe it might be most people.
Maybe it might be all people.

I was walking across campus and a lot of thoughts found their way to my head.
I was looking up at the clouds and just remember that life wasn't all business.
Before business came life, laughter, and love.
It was a more innocent time in general.
It probably was going on, but there wasn't any big headlines on the things that are going on in society today.
I remember.
I remember the days I would spend climbing trees, looking at clouds, comparing lawns.
Yes, comparing lawns.
My friend and I in elementary would go around our neighborhood and compare the lawns of different houses and people wouldn't think twice about it.
Imagine that happening in today's world.
A lot of yelling might follow it.
We determined that my lawn was the most luscious.
I felt like I cheated.
I didn't tell him though.
Why?
Well, our lawn at the time was a roll out lawn.
The grass was pre-grown and put into a grid-like thing that gardeners can just roll out.
It is pretty dang cool.

Clouds were so full of promise.
Before I knew that they were full of water.
They were knights slaying dragons, people dancing, dogs and cats playing, cars flying across the sky.
There was an innocence often associated with childhood, but when I look at society it seems that people don't know how to go outside for recreation anymore.
Everything is digitalized.
Not that I'm downing technology, but there is no real substitute for what God created.

Funny moment of the day: I was looking for a cd and I came across a cd that was labeled "Let it snow baby. Let it reindeer" it was by Reliant K. You can always count on them to come out with clever titles.
