The strange, the beautiful...

Given that I haven't updated in awhile.
I will give you a look into my life since my last update.

My life is going good.
I'm more comfortable then I've been in awhile.
Not the gluttonous, lazy comfort.
More like an "at peace with my situation" comfortable.
To let everyone who reads my blog know.
I am taking a break from UCI.
Why?
Well, if you look up a few lines you will see.
That is actually one of the reasons why I am comfortable.
I am trying to be good too!
For now I do not want to elaborate anymore than I have.

I'm going to be attending summer school.
Excited about school.
Don't know why I am, but I am.
Maybe I do like learning.
That's all I have to say about that.

"Jaded is overrated."
I saw that billboard in San Diego when I went on Tuesday.
It's sad really and the people that agree with that billboard are the exact reason why America today is such a spoiled nation.
How can people not be affected by having too much, overindulgence?
Well, people that have no end to their wants can't be...I guess.
To think that someone can't have enough.
Sad really.
I'm guilty of wanting more and having more than enough.
So I'm also saying this to myself.

I was standing the other day.
Looked at the sky and it was so blue.
It was a deep blue, a blue that isn't seen too often in Southern California.
It was beautiful.
Breathtaking as a matter of fact.
I also went to the beach on Wednesday.
It was awesome after having not been there for almost a year.
The waves crashing and the Sun shining made me feel at home.
I really think I'm at peace in nature.
I have to go do stuff more: camping, biking, beaching.
That would be great.

Gosh...Ansel Adams is so great.
Have you been to Whitney...the mountain not the school.
I can't describe.
Or on a lift when going up the slopes of a ski resort.
You can literally see for hundreds of miles.
So clear.
Or been to the desert at night and just looked up and let yourself be consumed by the stars.
I need to go back to Yosemite.
That's all I have to say about that.

I watched Forrest Gump the other day.
That movie is so good.
The story that Gump has even though it's fictional is so amazing.
How they made him affect the history of the U.S. is amazing.
Lovely.

School starts in 4 hours.
I'm not sleepy.
A little tired, but not sleepy.
Wait...now I'm getting sleepy.
Good stuff.

...the unknown.
