I'm waiting for class to start....at 12.
I'm sitting at the study center on a computer.
Writing in this thing and not studying.
When, at that point, I realize that it is Friday.
I have two days in front of me that are going to be a good time of rest.
Hopefully, that is.

Biding my time until I can get out of this place.

So, The Dodgers lost.
Dem Bums did it again.
I don't know if I'm qualified to call them that and I don't know if people refer to the Dodgers in that manner if they are not referring to the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Which reminds me.
People have often wondered and pondered over why the LA Dodgers are referred to as the Dodgers.
Well, it just so happens that the name The Dodgers actually goes back to the early 1900's when Brooklyn had a trolley system.
The full name for the Dodgers back in that time was named The Brooklyn Trolley-Dodgers.
More commonly known as the Brooklyn Dodgers, or rather affectionately referred to as "Dem Bums."
Not unlike the Red Sox's, the Dodgers just had a knack for losing either by having a bad year, or just by losing when it matters most. More often than not they were losing to one of the two other New York teams: the Yankees or the Hated Ones(Giants).
When the Dodgers would lose fans would exclaim as they were feeling the anguish of losing, "Dem Bums did it again!!!"
At first it was used to be derogatory, but as time passed and the years went on it stuck as a nickname, kind of like the Cubs nickname: "Lovable Losers."
I don't know if I would ever want that name for a nickname, but I'm definitely sure that that I would not want "Dem Bums" as my nickname.

I could really go on and on about sports, but I won't.
I touch more live than sports fans so, I must move on.
