I don't get it.
I never understood it when people say, "Forgive, but don't forget."
I understand it to a point, but what does it really mean.
I guess the only forgiving that I can think of is Godly forgiveness.
Where it is "as far as the East is from the West."
Forgiveness is the opportunity, in essence, to get hurt by the same thing over and over again.
A burden that theoretically every Christian should bear...over and over again.
I need to forgive and forget.
Forgive because in the Bible I am told to.
Forget so I can truly forgive.
"Lord let me hurt, so I can love those who hurt."
